BARETRAPS - ACOUSTICS DEAL OF THE CENTURY

BareTraps ($125 each, no quantity discount) are the most affordable bass traps RealTraps has ever offered. At 2 by 4 feet by 3-1/4 inches thick and weighing 18 pounds [Metric: 61 x 122 x 8 cm, 8 kg], they're very similar to MiniTraps. But there are some minor differences that let us sell these "bare necessities" for significantly less than MiniTraps.

All RealTraps products are famous for their absorption at low frequencies. BareTraps are real membrane bass traps that don't disappoint, with low frequency absorption similar to MiniTraps. BareTraps are available in both Standard and High Frequency styles, for corner bass trapping and reflection control respectively. Color choices are black, white, and wheat (off-white).

So what did we leave out of this "bare bones" trap? Not much! BareTraps have the same solid metal frame as MiniTraps, but without the fancy side slots. They have four holes in the rear for attaching your own hanging wires (not included), no cross bars for mounting on our RealTraps Stands, microphone stands, or with Post Base Kits. Note that BareTraps are sold in pairs only, to reduce the cost of shipping and packaging.

In this "bare market" economy, everyone wants a bargain! But the performance of BareTraps is first-rate, as you'd expect from RealTraps. And that's what matters most for folks on a budget. You also get the same expert advice that's made RealTraps so highly praised by dozens of famous recording engineers.

Our usual pricing uses the ".99" marketing penny, but we can't do that for BareTraps because we need every penny of profit! We lose $20 on each trap sold, but hope to make it up in quantity. The "bare truth" is BareTraps are the best value in acoustic treatment you'll find anywhere.

The photo at left shows how the hanging wires go through the holes and are secured in the rear of a BareTrap.
